For the past 30 years, Corrigan Krause has continued to grow and expand. Growing our team and promoting our members internally has been a top focus, which has allowed us to build the strongest and most effective team for our clients. Over the past year, many of our employees have worked hard and shown their dedication to the firm, and this could not be more appreciated. We are excited to announce a few recent changes to our team that will help us continue to grow and successfully service our clients and businesses in Northeast Ohio.
We are pleased to announce the promotion of the following five employees:
Aaron Apathy has been promoted from Senior Manager to Director.
Aaron started at Corrigan Krause as an intern while he completed his MBA program at Baldwin Wallace University. He later joined the team full time and has since risen through the ranks at the firm. His dedication to the firm over the past 11 years has shown that he will be a great addition to our Director group. Aaron is an essential member of the Assurance Services department with a focus on closely-held business financial reporting and consulting. He is also a founding member of the firm’s Dental Niche and an active member of a local BNI chapter.
James Kilgore has been promoted from Manager to Senior Manager.
James has been an integral member of the team since 2013. He typically works in the manufacturing, construction, and healthcare industries and specializes in tax planning and consulting, R&D credits, and State and Local Tax. James helps his clients solve accounting inefficiencies, address state and local tax concerns and find ways to help save tax dollars.
Luke Krevh has been promoted from Supervisor to Manager.
Luke interned at Corrigan Krause in 2012, and then spent three years at a big four firm. He returned to Corrigan Krause in 2017 and received his CPA in 2019. Luke focuses on mergers and acquisitions, accounting systems setup and maintenance, auditing closely held businesses, tax planning, valuations, and more. Luke is also a member of the manufacturing niche.
Tyler Colton and Lindsey Homan have been promoted from Senior Associate to Supervisor.
Tyler joined the firm in 2017 as a member of the Assurance Services Department. He focuses on accounting, auditing of employee benefit plans, financial reporting, tax consulting and more for closely held businesses and their owners. He is also studying to become a Certified Financial Planner® as a way to offer even more advisory services to our clients and help people reach their financial goals. Outside of work, Tyler is an active member of a local BNI chapter and loves to spend time with his wife and two young children.
Lindsey is a hard-working member of the Assurance Services Department. She has been a member of the Corrigan Krause team for three years and specializes in audit and tax services.
