Tyler M. Colton, CPA

Senior Associate

Tyler came to the profession of accounting

after some career experience in the sports business industry.

He graduated from West Virginia University with Bachelor’s Degrees in Sport Management and Accounting, as well as a Master’s Degree in Sport Management. Since joining the firm in 2017 he has enjoyed watching his career blossom at Corrigan Krause. His clients appreciate his calm demeanor and level-headedness which allow him to solve problems efficiently in the face of any challenge. One of the most rewarding aspects of his job is using education as a tool to give people the freedom to make better decisions to ensure financial well-being in their personal lives and business matters.

Tyler enjoys spending time away from work with his wife and two young children, especially outside when the Cleveland weather allows. He is a Star Wars enthusiast and always keeps up on his favorite teams: the WVU basketball and football teams and the Green Bay Packers. While in college, he was a finalist to become WVU’s mascot, the Mountaineer.
