As a Director in the Assurance Services Department at Corrigan Krause, Sheri manages the employee benefit plan audit niche. She started her career at Corrigan Krause in 2012 as a manager.
Sheri has a wealth of knowledge regarding benefit plans for both large and small entities. She assists clients with the design of their employee benefit plans and also helping to prevent errors by implementing necessary policies and procedures. In addition to employee benefit plans, Sheri works with small and mid-sized companies, providing a variety of accounting and consulting services for compliance and growth.
Sheri enjoys assisting her clients, particularly new entities or small businesses, by identifying their needs, tackling their challenges and helping their businesses grow and thrive. She is hyper-focused on providing all her clients with an outstanding client experience, quickly responding to her clients’ needs and questions.
Sheri’s favorite part of working at Corrigan Krause is the family atmosphere.

Sheri graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting. She has obtained AICPA certificates in Advanced Defined Contribution Plans Audit, Advanced Defined Benefit Plans Audit and Advanced Health and Welfare Plans Audit.

In her personal life, Sheri volunteers at her daughter’s school, Lake Ridge Academy in North Ridgeville, volunteering her time on the annual gala committee. She previously served as a board member of Playhouse Square Partners for over 15 years and chaired the organization’s largest fundraiser for three years. Today, she enjoys attending Broadway shows with her family and friends and participating as a donor to the organization.

Sheri has spent all of her life in Cleveland. She grew up in Brecksville, Ohio, attended college on Cleveland’s east side at John Carroll University and later worked downtown. She now lives in Avon with her husband Rick and daughter Eva. Outside of the office, Sheri loves golfing, reading, party planning and entertaining, and continuously works on mastering her cooking skills. She is also an avid traveler, and has visited Thailand, Australia, Japan, Bali, and even lived in Guam for a short time.
